Public Employees Retirement System – What is needed to make it work?
Join us for an in-depth look at the history, finances, controversies and challenges associated with New Hampshire’s public employee retirement system. Decisions being made today (and decisions from 20 years ago) are affecting all tax payers, especially the business community. Our guests will include representatives from the NH Municipal Association, the NH Counties Association and NH School Boards Association who have long labored on this complex and controversial public policy issue. They will review the
long legislative history of the retirement system and update us on various reform efforts.
